Woman short of 200 km/h – "I'm about to run out of petrol"

A woman in the US state of Arkansas thought she had every right to drive fast because her Volkswagen was running out of gas.

By now, the police must have heard the most excuses in the world from motorists who are speeding. But a woman in a Volkswagen Tiguan nevertheless gave the excuse a twist when she was measured to cover 200 km/h in an 88 zone.

With a drawn gun in sight, the woman initially tries to explain that she is in the middle of an emergency.

She is allegedly lobbing tor for petrol. At least that's what she explains to the officer who has made her keep quiet.

Even so, the woman's white Volkswagen Tiguan was doing just over 200 km/h just moments before she was stopped. But here the woman does not stop making stupid decisions.

Perhaps as a reaction to the situation and the confrontation with law enforcement, the woman gets back in the car, locks the doors and gives it gas. The woman does not get far, however, because she is short-changed by the officer in a so-called 'pit maneuver', which forces the white Volkswagen off balance.

Today, the entire drama has been cut down to an eight-minute video that has been posted on YouTube. What exactly has happened to the woman since then is not clear from the video. But she has in any case been charged with, among other things, being too strong and reckless.

We also have drivers like that here at home. Since March 2021, however, the police have been able to take both their choir cards and cars due to the law on crazy driving. Sometimes the police are really slow though.

Recently, for example, a woman had to wait several months for law enforcement to come after her Tesla. Read more about that case here .
