The municipality wants new speed limits on ALL roads

If it is up to the Technical and Environmental Administration in Copenhagen Municipality, motorists must in future drive more slowly.

On the vast majority of roads in Copenhagen, the speed must be reduced by 10 kilometers per hour. At least if it says to the Technical and Environmental Administration in the capital municipality. This is written by TV2 Lorry . If the plan comes to fruition, it will mean that virtually all roads in Copenhagen will become 40 zones. In the so-called bridge districts in central Copenhagen, the speed must go down to 30 km/h, the politicians believe. In this way, drivers will be forced off the roads, it is included in the setting of the project. In this way, the politicians hope to reduce the emission of Co2. The project, which costs DKK 90 million to implement, must be decided by the politicians in the Technical and Environmental Administration on Monday next week.
