On Wednesday, a Russian hacker group succeeded in putting down the websites of several Danish authorities – i.a. The Motor Authority – down. And they will continue to do so, reads the warning.
On Wednesday afternoon, a number of Danish authorities' websites were not available. They had been taken down by Russian hackers.
This concerns, among other things, about the Assessment Agency, the Customs Agency and the Motor Agency.
This is what the hacker group NoName057 writes on the Russian messaging service Telegram. Here they also take responsibility for the attack.
This is reported by a number of Danish media – including BT .

– We continue our attack on Denmark, writes the group NoName057.
The attack against the Danish Motor Authority is not, as such, an attempt to hack something or collect information illegally.
On the other hand, it was a so-called DDoS attack, where the only thing is to burden a website with so many requests, i.e. traffic, that it eventually goes down.
Around 5pm on Wednesday, Motorstyrelsen.dk is immediately accessible, but it is happening slowly. And several of the website's menus are still not usable.
It is certainly not the first time that Russian hackers have targeted Denmark. As recently as two days ago, Copenhagen Airport's website was taken down by a similar attack.
