Just admit it. You have probably thought the following: "there must be a psychopath behind that wheel". And there are indications that you may be right.
It happens from time to time that psychopaths move out into the traffic. At least that's how it feels. And now we actually have proof of it.
In any case, there is a list of which car brands psychopaths prefer, based on the British comparison portal 'Scrap Car Comparisons' latest survey .
To make the list, the British asked 2,000 drivers to rate themselves. The questions were arranged in such a way that psychopathic traits could subsequently be looked for.
The participants in the survey could score a maximum of 36 points, which would in turn classify them as 'mega-psychopaths'.

However, the surveyed drivers did not score that high. But the British could still draw a clear picture.
Most drivers with psychopathy – or at least psychopathic traits – drive BMW. The BMW owners scored an average of 12.1 points during the race. The Audi owners scored slightly lower, namely 11.7.
This is followed by a brand such as Fiat with a score among the owners of 7.0. And then the score otherwise goes down. The Skoda owners generally behave in an exemplary manner with a score of just 3.2. Enough for last place – or first – depending on how you look at the scale.
But it becomes even more interesting when you disregard the car brands and content yourself with looking at the car's fuel.
If you do that, it jumps out at you that the psychopaths prefer electric cars. In fact, the drivers who answered in the survey that they drive an electric car scored an average of 16.0 points.
This was followed by people in hybrid cars with a score of 9.8. The diesel owners scored 7.0, and the petrol drivers 5.2.
The survey also showed that most psychopaths – or people with psychopathic traits – prefer the color yellow on their cars. The lowest scores were those in messy cars.
