Haas choir admits: "I have more options"

Officially, both Haas drivers are out of work after the last lob on the Formula 1 calendar for December. At least from the outside, Nico Hülkenberg is not in a hurry.

It is usually associated with a certain anxiety – perhaps even stress – to know that you will soon be out of a job.

This is also the case in the world of motorsport. But officially, Nico Hülkenberg takes it very cool that he is unemployed racing choir until December. At least on the outside.

Neither he nor his teammate, Danish Kevin Magnussen, have contracts that run longer than the last lob on the 2024 calendar. What will be sung in Abu Dhabi on December 8.

But the German – that is, for his own part – is now taking it very easy. He admits that there are 'more options'.

PlanetF1 writes that.

– Personally, I'm not too busy. There are still many dores to go inside. But now the balls have started to roll in several places (with several Formula 1 teams, ed.)

– I think there are a few interesting weeks ahead. But personally, I'm not too busy. You know, it's not something I have to manage tomorrow, Hülkenberg told the assembled press when Formula 1 was in Japan.

Something else is how Danish Kevin Magnussen relates to the situation. Contrary to Hülkenberg, many do not believe that the Dane is part of Haas' plans in 2025 and further into the future.

However, many things can be different. When Hülkenberg and Magnussen got their contracts extended last time, the media was also in a frenzy of speculation.

After the publication, however, K-Mag admitted that he had known about his situation in Formula 1 for a very long time. Also longer than many had expected. Read more about it here .
