The Jet stations already disappeared from Denmark in 2015. Now they are on their way to Austria and Germany, where 1,000 gas stations are to be sold.

In Denmark, the American-owned Jet stations became Ingo in August 2014. And now the brand is withdrawing from even more countries. Almost 1,000 stations are put up for sale.
The company behind the Jet brand wants to sell 814 stations in Germany. Just like 154 locations in Austria are affected by the plans.
In comparison, the name disappeared from 70 gas stations in Denmark when the Jet name disappeared here. According to the German media Handelsblatt, the deal with the many gas stations is worth 2.8 billion euros. That's just under 21 billion Danish kroner.

That being said, not all gasoline fires are in a hurry to shut themselves down. Not at home either.
In fact, the Danish energy company Go'on is betting even more and on even more gas stations around the country.
A profit of DKK 71.4 million and a turnover of DKK 1.6 billion. kroner means that each of the just 20 full-time employees earns DKK 3.6 million. kroner into the company on average.
– For now, the rumors about the death of the petrol car are greatly exaggerated, says managing director Mick Kjær in an interview with Borsen.
