Elon Musk fired entire Tesla department because of one woman

The purge at Tesla continues. And it is bloody because Elon Musk didn't get his way in the first place, writes the media .

The woman who opposed Elon Musk had already fired 15 percent of her entire department. Then she rowed herself in a round of layoffs.

Tesla has shut down the entire department in the round of layoffs announced last month. In fact, the brand has to get rid of 'more than 10 percent of its employees'.

It has, among other things, gone beyond Tesla's PR team. Like the entire department responsible for the operation of the Supercharger network is a thing of the past.

And they are allegedly because Elon Musk met resistance in the first place. The opposition came from the head of the Supercharger network, Rebecca Tinucci.

Reuters writes that.

According to the news agency, Rebecca Tinucci refused to fire more people, as she had already fired 15 percent of her colleagues on direct orders from management. Then Musk got mad, fired her and the rest of the Supercharger team.

However, the Tesla director has since regretted it, it says. Just like Musk on his own social media, he has had to both defend his decision and withdraw some of it.

Elon Musk has reportedly regretted the decision so much that he has since tried to rehire the fired employees in the Supercharger department.

Conversely, Tesla is far from the only one saying goodbye to employees at the moment. Troubled Fisker Inc., expected to file for bankruptcy within a handful of days, has already notified remaining employees of their fate. Read more about it here.
