For a period of time, Tesla will try to sell cars to the Danes who visit a number of shopping centres.
Tesla is now trying a new approach to the Danes.
In a number of the country's largest cities, the brand will now sell its cars directly in shopping centres. Specifically, Tesla stores must open in seven cities.
These are to be located in Copenhagen, Herning, Slagelse, Kolding, Aarhus, Odense and on Frederiksberg. Tesla himself believes that the new move confirms the 'commitment' the brand has in Denmark.
In addition to buying the cars, the Danes, in the spirit of Tesla, will be able to test drive the Model Y and Model 3 in large centres.

However, Tesla's presence in the shopping centers is not permanent. Already after four months, the brand is packing up again, says Tesla's PR manager in Denmark, Maria Lantz.
Tesla's new pop-up stores have already opened in some locations. See more in the overview below:
- Field's in Copenhagen – 10 April
- Bruun's Gallery in Aarhus – 11 April
- Frederiksberg Center at Frederiksberg – 11 April
- The Roseng̴rd Center in Odense Р15 April
- The Herning Center in Herning – 12 April
- West Zealand Center in Slagelse – 12 April
- Kolding Storcenter in Kolding – 29 April
Tesla is not as big a hit as the brand has been in Denmark. The latest figures from De Danske Bilimportorer show that the brand must leave the place as the most popular in Denmark to Toyota.
That's not to say that things look bad for Tesla. Because if you look at the same statistics per car model, it is still the Model Y that most Danes have to ask for. In the course of the first four months of the year, Tesla got as many as 2,258 new Model Ys on number plates here at home
