The Swedish/Chinese brand has had a 1:1 version of an older manor wagon built by a superfan. Specifically, a Volvo V70.
It has taken one year to build a Volvo V70. That is because it is not a Volvo V70. But more precisely a model in the size ratio 1:1.
Built from no less than 350,000 copies of Danish Lego bricks. The man behind the project is called David Gustafsson. And he took part in the Swedish version of the TV program Lego Masters a few years ago.
So the interest does not come out of the blue. The car, which therefore almost consists of 400,000 pieces of Danish 'toys', has recently been exhibited in Volvo's original hometown of Gothenburg.
It happened in connection with the car importers' own exhibition "eCar Expo", which also exists in Denmark, but where everything other than electric cars is excluded.

The V70 has never been like that. So the real thing. The car in Lego is built after the third and last V70 model. So on a car from between 2008 and 2016.
On the other hand, the car can do everything that the real thing can. Among other things, fold in the side mirrors, steering wheel and steering wheel. Yes, even the headlights follow the movements of the steering wheel.
