You know them for the special name and then a design reminiscent of a large Rolls-Royce. Now there are five new models on their way to the country from Hongqi.
Hongqi , which has already made a mark with its luxurious, electric SUV E-HS9, plans to expand its model program in Europe and Denmark. The company has just showcased five new EVs at the Beijing Auto Show, which include two SUVs, two sedans and a convertible.
These models are designed to appeal to the European market and will be available at competitive prices. With a new design language, modern battery technology and high-quality materials, Hongqi is expected to create a stir in the Danish market for electric cars.
At this year's Beijing Auto Show, Hongqi unveiled a full electric lineup that supports the company's ambitions to become a global luxury brand. With the "GO ALL OUT" strategy, Hongqi aims to go from being "China's real luxury brand" to becoming "the world's new luxury brand."

To achieve this goal, Hongqi plans to build six new factories outside of China by 2028, open over 1,000 showrooms and be present in more than 100 countries. The company expects annual sales outside China of over 160,000 cars. The ambitious goal requires a strong model program, which is reflected in Hongqi's five new electric cars at the Beijing Motor Show.
As part of their rebranding efforts, Hongqi has designed a new logo that will be on all new electric cars from the brand. This logo will also be visible on the upcoming Hongqi models in Denmark.
Two of the new models, E-H7 and E-HS7, will be the first to arrive in Denmark. The E-H7 is a large sedan of almost 5 meters and the E-HS7 is a spacious SUV. Both models will offer options with both rear- and all-wheel drive and with three different battery sizes (75, 85 and 111 kWh).
These models are also available with 800-volt technology, which enables charging with up to 365 kW, enough to provide 215 km of range in just five minutes.
In addition to the E-H7 and E-HS7, Hongqi is also showing two concept cars, the E-H5 and E-HS5, which are smaller than their big brothers. Although they are concept cars, they are almost ready for production and are expected to resemble the prototypes shown. This makes them particularly interesting for the Danish market, where smaller electric cars are popular.
Finally, Hongqi presents a convertible version of the E-H7. This model is not a concept, but a production-ready electric four-seater convertible with a fabric top. It is expected to arrive in Denmark in the summer of 2025, making it the first electric four-seater premium convertible in the world.
With a portfolio that includes new technology and design standards, Hongqi is ready to enter the Danish market. After the success of the E-HS9, Hongqi looks to challenge the competition with innovative solutions and a fresh design.
