Problems are piling up in the new Volvo EX90. During the international press presentation, the cars had to be started with computers, and now the headlights are turning off by themselves.
That's not the case for the new Volvo EX90. In fact, the car is so full of flaws that it could cost the Swedish-Chinese brand billions to fix.
Recently, it has been reported that the headlights on the car have now started to turn off by themselves. According to several media outlets, the low and high beams are going out.
In Sweden alone, the car brand has had to recall 500 cars due to the defect. But the problem is also present on cars in the United States, for example.
However, in Sweden, they believe that the problem can be solved before the cars hit the roads. None of the future EX90 owners have received their cars yet.
– But since customer deliveries have just started here, this action will be taken before the cars are delivered to the customer, says press manager Magnus Holst to Vibilägare .
Should cars be delivered with headlights that turn off by themselves, Volvo believes that the issue can be resolved with a software update. Owners do not need to contact their local workshops.

That said, the EX90 is an electric car full of childhood diseases. In fact, the technology in them is already so outdated that it could cost Volvo billions to fix. Read more about it here.
During the press presentation in California, Volvo's technicians had to start the cars several times with the help of some computers. In a test conducted by Autoweek, the new Volvo also lost to a 9-year-old Tesla Model X.
It is especially the software, which is full of errors, that is slowing things down.
– During the test period, the Volvo had some electronic errors, which does not strengthen confidence in the car, writes AutoWeek.
Volvo will also have to disappoint a large number of EX90 customers, as several of the features that require extra payment do not work in the new top model.
For example, the brand cannot get a number of assistance systems and Apple CarPlay to work. Furthermore, the car disappoints badly in the both famous and infamous moose test.
