Gang member indicted for cheating with insanely expensive lease cars

A former Black Army gang leader has been charged with cheating on 16 very expensive lease cars. Last year he received a sentence for similar fraud.

It is a former gang leader in the grouping Black Army, who must be very well acquainted with the indictments against him, who this week is sitting on the dock at the City Court in Odense.

Back in February last year, he was sentenced to a fine of more than one million kroner and eight months' probation for cheating on the registration tax on nine cars.

And now the prosecution believes they have enough on the man to indict him – and a co-conspirator – for cheating with a further 16 lease cars.

This is written by Fyens.dk, which has obtained access to the indictment against the two.

According to the prosecution, the men have defrauded the state treasury of 2.7 million kroner. Something that the Court in Odense must decide on during this week. The case runs from Monday to Wednesday.

It is far from the first time that cars have been cheated in this country. Earlier this year, De Danske Bilimportorer went straight out and said that nearly DKK 1 billion is being cheated when used electric cars arrive in the country.

However, it turned out to be logn. A log that Bilimportorer's managing director Mads Rorvig would not regret.

In other cases, a seer from Slagelse has been caught in the trap. Among other things because he stole cars and subsequently cloned them. Something that in 2021 cost him a million-dollar fine. Read more about the case here .

Back in January, four men were indicted in another case, but at least as serious a case. East Jutland Police believe that the men have defrauded at least 203 cars.

The investigation against the four has therefore also taken a full four years. And then there are the smaller but nonetheless equally stupid scams. From his backyard in Svendborg on Funen, a 37-year-old ran a petrol station.

However, the business was no more shady than the fact that customers could pay with Mobilepay. It forte in March 2023 to a charge. The man, however, pleads not guilty. Read more about the case here .
