There are several claims in the millions aimed at the company. But it is the Tax and Customs Administration that has declared the bankruptcy with a claim for VAT and tax debt.
The car industry is a ruthless place to do business in. Especially if you don't pay your VAT and other tax debts.
Because while car importers are firing dealers left and right, and actually being fired themselves, things are also going badly in other parts of the industry.
Most recently, the probate court in Sonderborg has declared the leasing company Leasing Partner ApS bankrupt on behalf of the Swedish Tax Agency.
The Aabenraa company owes, the tax authorities believe, an awful lot of millions. But the owner disagrees with that. Read more about it here .

However, it is not the only car company that the Swedish Tax Agency has recently gone after with a bankruptcy petition.

The same thing has happened to Piralux Automobile A/S. The company, which has an address in the Aalborg suburb of Svenstrup, was declared bankrupt on 6 February.
The tax authorities believe they have DKK 5.3 million to their credit from the North Jutland company. Money that has not been paid in VAT and other old tax debts.
The company has also not responded to a four-week deadline to find the money, which was given before the bankruptcy petition was filed in the bankruptcy court.
According to the bankrupt company's own information, business-wise it focused mainly on picking up luxury cars on order from Germany.
However, car dealerships can also turn some over more or less voluntarily. This has happened, among other things, because one of the many Renault dealers was fired by the importer last year.
